Refund & Cancellation Policy
Key Summary: We want you to be 100% confident in your enrollment. If you attend Session 1 of any live cohort and feel the practical training is not suited for you, you can request a 100% full refund prior to the start of Session 2.
1. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to admissions@rtsacademy.pk with your student enrollment ID and payment slip.
2. Approved refunds are processed back through the original payment method (JazzCash, Easypaisa, 1Link, or Bank Transfer) within 5 to 7 business banking days.
3. Self-paced on-demand masterclasses are eligible for refund within 48 hours of purchase if less than 20% of video materials have been streamed.

Certificate & Qualification Policy
Standards Notice: RTS Academy certificates represent verified practical capability, not mere course attendance. Certificates will not be issued without completed studio submissions.
1. Certificate of Completion: Awarded to cadets who attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions and submit all required weekly exercises.
2. Certificate of Achievement (Distinction): Awarded only to students whose final recorded news bulletin or investigative package scores 85%+ on the 4-Pillar Rubric evaluated by Rehan Tariq.
3. RTS Academy certificates are institutional credentials signed by Rehan Tariq and contain cryptographic QR verification for media recruiter validation.

Privacy & Data Protection
We collect cadet contact details, payment transaction IDs, and video/audio assignment recordings exclusively for educational feedback, cohort communications, and platform operation.
Payment card information is processed directly by PCI-DSS certified banking gateways (PayFast, 1Link, Stripe). RTS Academy never stores raw debit/credit card numbers on its servers.

Student Code of Conduct
RTS Academy operates a professional newsroom culture. Students are expected to treat peers, mentors, and technical staff with mutual respect. Harassment, unauthorized recording of peer drills, or hate speech will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
Anti-Plagiarism & AI Transparency: Scripts must be original or appropriately cited. AI generation tools may be used for research assistance, but fabricating sources or submitting purely synthetic reports as original field work is strictly forbidden.

Media & Recording Consent
Live masterclasses are recorded for internal archive review and student revision. Student submissions will never be featured in public marketing, social media, or the Talent Directory without prior explicit written authorization from the student.
