THE VISION BEHIND RTS ACADEMY

"Talent is Everywhere.
Opportunity & Practical Training Are Not."

Throughout my professional journey in mainstream media, I have had the opportunity to work in broadcasting, journalism, interviewing, and television presentation. Along the way, I discovered that many young people have the ambition to enter the media industry but lack access to the practical training and professional guidance needed to turn that ambition into a career.

That realisation inspired me to establish a media school at the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, equipped with studio facilities and production equipment to give young media aspirants practical exposure. The objective was simple: to move beyond classroom learning and allow students to experience how media content is created.

"I want our students to understand that media is not simply about appearing on camera. It is about research, responsibility, storytelling, credibility, preparation, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively."

A Letter to the Next Generation

Today, through RTS Academy, my vision is to create a contemporary learning platform where aspiring journalists, broadcasters, podcasters, digital creators, and communication professionals can develop the skills demanded by today’s rapidly evolving media landscape.

RTS Academy will combine structured online learning with practical assignments, professional feedback, and opportunities for personal interaction. Students will learn not only how to present, report, interview, produce, and communicate, but also how to think critically, work ethically, and adapt to changing technologies like AI.

My ambition is to help develop a generation of media professionals who are skilled, confident, responsible, and prepared for the future.

Welcome to RTS Academy. The next generation starts here.
